Lawsuit against American Security Insurance Company for Falling to pay the full amount for a House Fire – Miami Dade County
Scott R. Dinin, P.A. filed Lawsuit against American Security Insurance Company for Falling to pay the full amount for a House Fire – Miami Dade County
My client’s home was damaged by fire in 2007. At the time of the fire she was insured with American Security Insurance Company, and after the fire was properly reported they paid my client just $14,914.00 against damages that were estimated by her own adjuster at over $79,000.00.My client hired me today to help them with this claim Today, I filed a lawsuit against American Security for breach of the insurance policy for failing to properly pay for the fire damages, and because we discovered that the initial adjuster hired by American Security to “ Estimate “ the damages was unlicensed, we additionally added charges of Violation of Florida statutes and for Breach of Implied Warranty of Good faith and Fair Dealings to address these business practices that substantially injured our client.
My client’s house has been damaged for close to four years, and there is no way she could afford to hire me by the hour. So, my deal with her is simple. As with most of my insurance cases, if I am successful American Security will be required to pay my fees and costs, and if I lose, I’ll work for free.
